Homemade Ranch Seasoning

I love Ranch dressing and flavoring.  when the ranch popcorn seasoning came out our moive theater, I was in heaven.  The more I look at labels, the more scared I become of what we are eating.  I used to buy the packets of ranch like crazy and growing up I would dip everything i could in ranch.  I have discovered it is so easy to make your own mixes.  This batch makes enough to equal 2 packets (3 TBSP).   I found this recipe on Bake your Day.

2 TBSP dried parsley

2 tsp dried dill

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 tsp dried chives

dash of salt (I used Himilayn Pink Salt)

Mix and store in airtight container for up to two months

To use as a dip or dressing, mix 1 tsbp with 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt and 1/4 cup milk.

One of my favorite ranch dips is 1 container of cottage cheese, 1 1/2 TBSP of this mix (or one packet of ranch), and a little milk and blend in blender to desired consistency.

Or use this anyway you use the powder now. I am going to make air popped popcorn and and drizzle with a little Olive Oil or coconut oil and sprinkle this on. Yum!

Check out the next recipe on how I used this for shrimp!
